Microsoft Office 365 is free for students and school staff
Microsoft Office 365 gives students and staff access to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, OneNote, SharePoint and Access for free.
All Queensland state school staff and students can download the latest Microsoft Office to their personal home computers and mobile devices. This includes Windows and Mac computers, as well as Apple iOS devices (iPhone & iPad) and Android devices.
Students and staff will need to use their school email address to sign in.
Microsoft Office 365 is available for personal devices only, not devices owned by the department or part of a school network.
Your Office subscription lasts for as long as you’re a Queensland state school student or school based staff member.
Download process
On a mobile device such as an iPad launch the App Store app and download the required app. Once downloaded sign into the app with your school email address and password.
